First of all, I find your site super interesting, well done..
I am in the process of installing an aquarium 350 discus liters with mangrove root, plants and a group of 6 discus and I would like to do automatic water changes with a special drip pump with this pump I can adjust the flow and cadence.
I prepare the water in a barrel of 200 liters osmosis water + tap water or 100% remineralized osmosis… To see when do you think?

... So, I would tell you that it is case by case.
If the tap water is of good quality, sans nitrates, phosphates, silicates or other pollutants x or y… So a mix will be perfect.
Otherwise, the solution 100% osmosis + mineral salts (well chosen) will fit perfectly!
